Revive is About Pursuing Revival through Equipping the Whole Church to Reach the Lost

Working with area churches, we equip the normal every day Christian to reach people for Jesus. We teach them how to Love, Listen, Discern and Respond, and use the Bible and wristband to share the good news with them in a way they can understand. We then take the teams out to show them how to engage with people and respond to opportunities that the Holy Spirit leads them to. Our pupose is to see Jesus Christ transform hearts and lives through the church fullfilling the great commision across our city and area. We find that many people are open and are just waiting for someone to explain to them how to be saved.

By Sharing the Gospel

The mission and message of reviveFortWayne centers on the Gospel of Jesus Christ. People respond positively to the colorful bible and wristband which helps open the door to share with them. The verses walk them through the good news in a way they can understand. Through reading the Word for themselves God speaks to their heart and once they understand how to be sure of Heaven, many are ready to invite Jesus into their lives. Also this gives believers a way to share the good news without stumbling or searching for what to say.

Engaging the Community

By Discipleship

As we engage in the community our desire is to see new believers discipled. Part of equipping is to help believers in the church to be able to connect with new believers and help them grow and be part of the church family. If desired, we provide a tool, a workbook called 52 Weeks that can be used one on one or in a small group to take them through the main events in the Bible, 26 old testament and 26 new testament passages. Or churches may have existing methods in place to disciple them. We encourage believers to share Christ’s love with them and create new friendships within God's family.

By Praying

One of the keys for revial is intercession for the lost. As we seek God for His burden for the lost then pray and ask Him to send His Spirit and move in their hearts to bring them to Jesus, He does just that. Great moves of God we read about always came about when someone, somewhere got a burden for the lost and prayed for them until the Spirit of God came. When the Church comes together in unity, entering into the work of saving the lost, revival always happens and the people of a city, and even a nation can be saved for His glory. (John 17:23).
